Bonnie's work with the Buckminster Fuller Collection spans decades. During her 6 years at at the Buckminster Fuller Institute (1989-95), she served as chief archivist for the Buckminster Fuller Archives serving many institutions, museums and scholars. Since the archives was acquired by Stanford University in 1999 she has worked with Stanford's archivists, curators and conservators and has volunteered regularly at Stanford Special Collections as a content expert for research & conservation projects. She has continued her work with the Fuller Collection at Stanford as an independent researcher on numerous book and museum projects.

After her 6 years at BFI, Bonnie continued to work with the Buckminster Fuller Institute as advisor, curator and writer. She is also one of the founders of and advisors to the Buckminster Fuller Challenge Prize which is celebrating its its 10th year.
